At the appointed time we'll meet at the post office on Calle larga de l'Ascension. 20 minutes later we'll begin our tour of the main Venetian tapas bars.
Holidays are all about indulgence, right? This tour of Venice will take you to the best of the city's famous wine bars, known locally as bacari, where you'll enjoy excellent wine, as well as being treated to delicious typical dishes: a type of local tapas called cicchetti. What are these delicious Venetian snacks, you ask? They're small appetisers, usually a piece of bread topped with any number of a million and one mouth-watering ingredients: fresh tomato, cured meats, cheeses... Hope you're hungry!
Explore the main streets of Venice's historic centre and discover its most famous bacari. You'll be served two exquisite cicchettis with incredible flavours, accompanied by a tasting of two glasses of Italian wine.
