On this St Mark's basilica guided tour we'll see all the details which make it so unique. During the tour, we'll see the Ascension Dome mosaics, and we'll reveal the different scenes represented. The tour will end after 1 hour, after discovering the true masterpiece that is the Basilica of San Marcos.
Itinerary changes
Due to changes in operation, the skip-the-line service is temporarily suspended, and therefore all visitors will have to wait in line to enter the basilica.
From Monday to Saturday, the entrance will be on the ground floor of the basilica. Then, you'll go up to the upper floor to visit the museum, where you'll also be able to see the mosaics, after which you can go outside onto the terrace.
On Sundays and public holidays, visitors will enter directly from the upper floor to visit the museum and the outdoor terrace. The first floor will not be visited, as it is where mass takes place.
