San Marco City Pass

With the San Marco City Pass, you can visit the Doge's Palace. This iconic building, located at the eastern end of St. Mark's Square, is one of the great jewels of Venetian Gothic architecture.

This tourist card also includes admission to the three civic museums in St. Mark's Square:

  • Correr Museum: its permanent collection houses an outstanding display of pictorial works, maps and ancient objects.
  • National Archaeological Museum: among its numerous pieces, its Greek and Roman sculptures stand out.
  • Marciana National Library: its collection of texts is considered one of the most important in the world.

In addition, the San Marco City Pass includes access to three important temples of the Chorus, the association of the Churches of the Patriarchate of Venice:

  • Church of Santa Maria del Giglio: a Baroque monument of extraordinary beauty.
  • Church of Santo Stefano: here you can visit its Museum of Sacred Art.
  • Church of Santa Maria Formosa: according to tradition, it was one of the eight churches founded by St. Magnus.

With your San Marco City Pass, you can also visit the Fondazione Querini Stampalia, a well-known museum dedicated to paintings, sculptures and decorative arts.

How does it work?

The San Marco City Pass allows one-time access to each attraction and is valid for 2 years after purchase.

You'll be able to access any of the churches and museums included for as long as your card is active. The only exception is the Doge's Palace, which can only be visited between 12 pm and 5 pm on the day you select on the booking calendar. Once you have entered the Doge's Palace, you'll have 3 months to visit the rest of the monuments included in the card.
