Venice Walking Theater Show
We'll meet at the scheduled time outside the San Gallo theater, from where we'll begin this walk full of fable and fantasy in Venice.
Led by the actors of the Pantakin theater company, we'll walk through some of the most iconic sights of Venice as we unveil the mysteries of one of the most romantic and enigmatic cities in Italy.
We'll begin our dramatized tour of Venice in St. Mark's Square, where we'll discover who the codegas were - prominent figures back from 15th century Venice who served the rich and noblemen.
Accompanied by our own codega, we'll immerse ourselves in the Venetian past by walking through the streets of the Merceria, which connect St. Mark's Square with the famous Rialto Bridge. Afterward, we'll move onto the Basilica of San Zanipolo, where we'll tell you about the Serenissima Republic of Venice.
Our next stop will be at Campo Santa Maria Formosa, where we'll hear some of the most popular Venetian legends such as Casanova, the gondolier monk, or the elephant hidden in a church.
We'll also discover why there is a Devil's Bridge in Venice, as well as some of the stories of the ghosts that haunt the city of canals.
Then, after an hour and fifteen minutes, we'll return to the meeting point.
